Ylies “Broly” Djiroun, 28, of Paris, France is competing in BRAVE Combat Federation for the second time. The French mixed martial artist is coming out of a successful promotional debut.

Featuring 11 matches, BRAVE CF will hold “BRAVE CF 51: The Future is Here” at the Falcon Club Arena in Minsk, Belarus on June 4, 2021. In the ninth bout of the evening, Djiroun will fight Sam “The Future” Patterson, 24, of London, England in the lightweight division.

While this will be Djiroun’s second BRAVE CF fight, it will be Patterson’s fourth outing in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion. The London native currently has 2 wins, 0 loss, 0 draw and 1 No Contest in the promotion.

On March 18, 2021, Djiroun made his BRAVE CF debut at “BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Nights” at the Arad Fort in Arad, Bahrain on March 18, 2021. In the main event of the evening, he submitted Rakhman “Ot Dushy Paren” Makhazhiev, 29, of Grozny, Chechnya, Russia.

It was not only a successful promotional debut for the Paris native. It was also the first time he was featured in a poster of an MMA event.

“I’ve fought for many organizations,” Djiroun said. “I’ve been here and there but not once I was featured on a poster but they did that for me.”

“In my first fight, my photo was on the poster,” the French MMA fighter continued. “That means a lot to me. It’s important.”

Winning at “BRAVE CF 48: Arabian Nights” improved Djiroun’s professional MMA record to 18 wins and 6 loses. Though his recent performance put the MMA world on notice, he has no plans of taking his talent elsewhere.

“I really appreciated how they welcomed me in the promotion and the opportunity that they’ve given me,” Djiroun said. “Now that MMA is legal in France and BRAVE CF is doing events in Europe, it means more visibility for fighters like me.”

Since Djiroun is happy with BRAVE CF, he wants to stay in the promotion for a long time. He said, “I don’t know what the future holds but if you’re going to ask me, I just want to stay here.”

“They treat me well and the people behind it are kind,” Djiroun continued. “I don’t see myself leaving BRAVE CF.”

Djiroun believes that “BRAVE CF 51: The Future is Here” has a pivotal role in the growth of the sport not only in Belarus but in the entire Europe. He noted that BRAVE CF is the only organization to hold events in Europe on this scale.

“No other promotion was able to do what BRAVE CF did in Europe,” Djiroun pointed out. “In my opinion, they’ve already taken control of Europe.”

Before joining BRAVE CF, Djiround suffered two consecutive losses in the Professional Fighters League. He has been competing professionally since 2011.
