Vadim Kutsyi, 29, of Belarus and Daniyar “Doni” Abdibaev, 30, of Kyrgyzstan are among the BRAVE Combat Federation debutantes on the “BRAVE CF 51: The Future is Here” fight card. They will battle it out in the super welterweight division.
In association with Rukh Sport Management (RSM), BRAVE CF will hold “BRAVE CF 51: The Future is Here” at the Falcon Club in Minsk, Belarus on June 4, 2021. It is the Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion’s first event in Belarus.

As one of the fighters representing the host country, Kutsyi wants to do his part in restoring Belarus’s old glory in MMA. He would like to honor his compatriots who came before him such as Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski, Alexei “Brick” Kudin, Dmitry Voitov and Igor Litoshik.
“This upcoming BRAVE CF event has caused a huge response in Belarus,” Kutsyi said. “There are a lot of posters around the city, people constantly send my photos from the poster, even those whom I don’t know and who were not interested in MMA before. This is an indicator that BRAVE CF is doing great work to develop and promote not only their organization but also their fighters.”
.
Kutsyi is a Minsk native. He trains at Academy MMA in the capitol city of Belarus.
“Different organizations used to hold tournaments and events in Belarus but they haven’t had such a scale as BRAVE CF,” Kutsyi said. “Holding an important event like this one in Belarus is a very big step towards the development of Belarusian MMA.”
BRAVE CF has developed from being an upstart MMA organization in 2016 to a combat sports powerhouse, staging 50 shows in 21 different countries. six of which are in Europe. In line with its strategy of building talents from the grassroots level, the Bahrain-based outfit took advantage of venturing into untapped European markets like Slovenia and Romania.
Now that BRAVE CF has established a major foothold in Europe, Kutsyi believes that it will be difficult for its competitors to knock the promotion off the pedestal that it is currently occupying as the MMA frontrunner in the continent. He said, “For BRAVE CF, this is another step towards expanding their borders and capturing Europe.”
“BRAVE CF held a lot of events in Europe even in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Kutsyi continued. “I believe the best is yet to come for them.”
.
BRAVE CF was founded on September 23, 2016 by Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Among its rivals as the top MMA promotions in the world are the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Bellator MMA, Professional Fighters League and ONE Championship.
The reigning strawweight champion of ONE Championship is Joshua “The Passion” Pacio, 25, of Baguio City, Philippines. His Team Lakay teammates and fellow ONE Championship athletes Stephen “The Sniper” Loman, 27, and Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, 24, are former BRAVE CF athletes.
