Mostly shot in Baguio City, Philippines, “The Broken Marriage Vow” premiered worldwide via The Filipino Channel on January 24, 2022. It is the sixth adaptation of the television drama series “Doctor Foster,” which aired in the United Kingdom on BBC One from September 9, 2015 to October 3, 2017.
“The Broken Marriage Vow” was directed by Connie Macatuno and Andoy Ranay. Aside from Baguio City, other scenes were also filmed in La Union, Philippines.

The first “Doctor Foster” adaptation “Infidèle” (Unfaithful) aired in France on TF1 from January 7, 2019 to November 2019. It was followed by Russia’s version “Скажи правду” (Tell the Truth), which aired on Russia-1 from March 11-14, 2019, and India’s version “Out of Love“, which aired on Hotstar from November 22, 2019 to May 14, 2021.
“The World of the Married,” the South Korean adaptation of “Doctor Foster”, aired on JTBC from March 27, 2020 to May 16, 2020. Turkey’s adaptation “Sadakatsiz” (Unfaithful) premiered on Kanal D on October 7, 2020 while Thailand’s upcoming version “Love is Enough” will air on GMM25.
