Mister Global 2021 is Miguel Angel Lucas Carrasco, 21, of Pantoja, Toledo, Spain. He is currently training to become a firefighter in Madrid, Spain.

Born and raised in Toledo, Lucas is fluent in Spanish and English. On September 18, 2021, he represented Toledo at Mister RNB España in Periana, Málaga, Spain and was crowned Mister Global Spain 2021, which was one of the four titles at stake.

Mister Global 2021

Representing Spain, Lucas was crowned Mister Global 2021 in Maha Sarakham, Thailand on March 15, 2022, besting 32 other candidates. His predecessor Mister Global 2019 Kim Jong Woo, 25, of Jecheon, North Chungcheong, South Korea attended the coronation ceremony, which was hosted by Sophicha Apichonsantad and Kuntida Muntrikaeo.

Kim also served a judge. Among his fellow judges were Suchar Sarachan, Alex Xavier, Dr. Jaturong Mairae, Paweena Natasin, Phongsri Wangwan, Ratchanee Phromphaeng, Ratchanee Vorcharttrakul, Praiya Bunmee, Lakkhana Methanithikunt, Chanat Kansut, Sirichai Siripai, Kampol Thongchai, Kesinee Meesakunthawon and Patima Laochai.

Runner-up to Lucas is Danh Chieu Linh, 25, of Vietnam while Dongwoo Shin, 30, of South Korea is second runner-up. Juan Carlos da Silva, 21, of Venezuela is third runner-up and Gabriel Alejandro Ortiz Aguayo, 22, of Mexico is fourth runner-up.

Yaniel Ogando, 31, of Cuba is Mister Photogenic while Lewis Ellis, 31, of the United Kingdom is Mister Congeniality and Emmanuel Somto, 25, of Nigeria is Mister Popularity. The Best National Costume award went to Abhishek Pramuditha, 26, of Sri Lanka and the Most Inspiration Video was won by Tseetej Shiwakoti, 26, of India.

Mister Global is one of the six grand slam international male beauty pageants. The others are Mister International, Mister World, Mister Supranational, Man of the World and Manhunt International.

On October 23, 2000, Roderick “Eric” Dilla Salvador, then 24, of Baguio City, Philippines was 24 when he represented the Philippines at Mister World 2000 in Perthshire, Scotland and was unplaced. On July 28, 2017, Christopher Dulagan, then 22, of Baguio City represented the Philippines at Man of the World 2017 in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines and finished in the Top 10.
