The Miss World 2021 first runner-up is from Seattle, Washington, United States. She is Shree Saini, 25, an Indian-American model, ballerina and advocate for heart health.
Currently, the U.S. has three Miss World titles. These were won by Marjorie Wallace in 1973, Gina Tolleson in 1990 and Alexandra Milles in 2010.

Miss World 2021
Hosted by Peter Andre and Fernando Allende, the Miss World 2021 coronation night was held at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 16, 2022. The ceremony featured performances by Miss World 2019 Toni Ann Singh, 26, of Jamaica and the Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra.
Singh has the longest Miss World reign. She was not able to crown her successor in 2020 and in 2021 due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
From 97 candidates, only 40 Miss World 2021 quarterfinalists were selected to compete during the coronation night. In the end, Saini became runner-up to Karolina Bielawska, 21, of Łódź, Poland.
Olivia Yacé, 23, of Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire is second runner-up while Carla Yules, 25, of Surabaya, Indonesia, Karolina Vidales, 24, of Jiquilpan, Mexico and Anna Leitch, 27, of Cookstown, Northern Ireland finished in the Top 6.
Representing the Philippines, Tracy Maureen Perez, 28, finished in the Top 13. On October 25, 2020, she represented Cebu City at Miss Universe Philippines 2020 in Baguio City and finished in the Top 16.
