Brazil’s Adriano Moraes to defend ONE Championship belt from Japan’s Yuya Wakamatsu at ‘ONE: X’ in Singapore

Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes, 32, of Brasilia, Federal District, Brazil has been reigning as ONE Championship‘s flyweight champion since January 25, 2019. That day, he dethroned then champion Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, 32, of Baguio City, Philippines.

On April 7, 2021, Moraes successfully defended his ONE Flyweight World Champion title from Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, 35, of Parkland, Washington, United States. Two days from now, the Brazilian champion will defend the belt at “ONE: X“, which marks his second title defense.

“ONE: X” in Singapore

Featuring 11 mixed martial arts fights, three Muay Thai matches, three kickboxing contests, two submission grappling contests and one hybrid MMA-Muay Thai fight, “ONE: X” will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore in three parts on March 26, 2022. The first part will start at 1:00 p.m. and the second part will start at 5:00 p.m.

The third part, which is the grand finale, will start at 8:00 p.m. One of the fights in the third part is the ONE Flyweight World Championship title bout between Moraes and his challenger Yuya “Little Piranha” Wakamatsu, 27, of Kagoshima, Japan.
