James Reid, 29, is mixing music and Scotch whisky literally. The Filipino-Australian singer, songwriter and actor partnered with Johnnie Walker to celebrate World Music Day on June 21, 2022.

Reid was born to an Australian father and a Filipino mother in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Sydney is around 725.3 km away from Shepparton, Victoria, Australia, one of the sister cities of Baguio City, Philippines.

The world first got to experience Reid’s new single “California Lovin” with its performance video release on the Press Play platform of The Grammy Awards on May 26, 2022. The song will be available on all major streaming platforms on June 30, 2022.
