Lukanand Kshetrimayum, 20, of Imphal, Manipur, India is currently in Metro Manila, Philippines. The Manipuri filmmaker and model represented India in the 14th edition of Mister International.

Released on January 6, 2019, Kshetrimayum’s film “Meitan Araba” won several awards at the 8th SSS MANIFA and the 12th Manipuri State Film Awards. On August 8, 2019, he won Garnier Men Mega Mister North East 2019 in Guwahati, Assam, India. 

Hosted by Michael Bristol, the Mister International 2022 coronation night was held at the New Frontier in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila on October 30, 2022. Including India, a total of 35 countries and territories were represented.

Among the 35 candidates, Kshetrimayum finished second. He was runner-up to Mister International 2022 Manu Franco, 21, of the Dominican Republic.

Orangel Dirinot, 26, of Venezuela was second runner-up. The respective third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Jason Li of Hong Kong, MJ Ordillano of the Philippines and Juan Pablo Colías of Spain.

Kshetrimayum also won Mister Dermaworld, which was one of the six corporate awards. Franco won Best in Formal Wear while Colias won Best in Swimwear.

Roger Hugo Amandus, 21, of Malaysia finished in the Top 16. Malaysia will host the 15th edition of Mister International in 2023.

Mister International is one of the five grand slam male international beauty pageants. The others are Mister World, Mister Global, Mister Supranational and Man of the World.

On June 18, 2022, the Man of the World 2022 coronation night was held at the Baguio Convention Center in Baguio City, Philippines. It was hosted by model Fabio Ide, 38, of Brazil and Miss Earth 2008 Karla Paula Henry, 36, of the Philippines.

A total of 22 men competed for the Man of the World 2022 title. Representing India, Aditya Khurana, 22, won the title.
